18 particularly beautiful holiday flats and houses in the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn, Binz/ Rügen and Zingst as well as in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz near Kappeln/ Schlei...

The famous seaside resort of Binz is located directly in the Prorer Wiek, one of the most beautiful bathing bays in Germany.
Binz is the largest and most exclusive spa and seaside resort on the Baltic Sea coast of the island of Rügen with 7 km of fine sandy, white and wide beach, a 4 km long beach promenade lined with lime trees, built shortly after the turn of the century and redesigned in 1993, and beautiful old seaside resort architecture - a sight the eye can't get enough of! No other seaside resort on the German Baltic Sea has such a perfectly preserved centre of this style. The centre is formed by the famous Kurhaus and the concert square with the pavilion as well as the pier.
3 well-maintained sand courts at the Binzer Tennis Club, a leisure and adventure landscape under glass, a bathing and sauna area and also a thermal brine bath provide variety. A golf course is also available nearby (Karnitz Castle).
There are many recommended excursions by boat directly from the pier in Binz, e.g. to the neighbouring seaside resorts of Sellin (with a built-on pier and fun pool) and Göhren, but also to the island of Usedom. Beautiful nature and many small thatched (fishermen's) cottages await you in Groß Zicker in the south, directly on the Bodden waters, or in and around Vitt in the north of the island. Here you can also visit Cape Arkona, the northernmost point of Rügen, with its steep coast or the famous chalk cliffs in the northeast and admire the landscape around the "Schaabe" near Juliusruh with its beautiful view over the Tromper Wiek and the small Bodden harbour of Breege.
An impressive monument of the Nazi era, on the other hand, can be found in Prora, 4 km north of Binz - the so-called "Colossus of Rügen": Once planned by Hitler as the largest beach resort in the world for 20,000 (!) holidaymakers, this huge holiday complex in seven-storey concrete construction, almost 5 km directly along the beach, was then never completed, however, due to the start of the war in 1939! In the meantime, however, flats for rent, hotels and holiday flats have been built here piece by piece
Also very interesting: Putbus with the famous "Circus", a roundabout with an obelisk in the middle, as well as the historic theatre and the beautiful parks of the Schloßpark.

A comfortable holiday flat for 2-4 people in the beautiful old town centre of Binz, only 3-4 minutes walk from the centre, pier, beach and Schmachter See:
Binz/ Rügen: 2-room holiday flat in VILLA AMANDA
.
Perhaps you would like to visit Rügen in autumn? Then you should not miss a visit to the quiet island of Ummanz, where thousands of cranes gather at this time of year for their onward flight - a spectacle that you will not see again so quickly!
And: an absolute must, at least if you stay a few days longer on Rügen, is a day trip to the island of Hiddensee: take the ferry to this car-free island, where an intact, varied landscape awaits you with heath areas, well-developed dike paths for hikers and cyclists, gentle hills and a lighthouse in the north with a fantastic view of the island as well as small fishing villages (especially beautiful: the village of Kloster)
Largest seaside resort on the island of Rügen
